Hi Tessa, did my step-downs after work. Knee was a little achy after. Normal?
Some achiness after we add load is common. Did it settle by morning?
Yes, gone by breakfast.
Good. Same reps through Thursday, and send me a video of one set. I'll check your form.

Texting your PT
Between visits you text your own PT, not a front desk, through a secure app that works like any text thread and keeps your messages and videos private. Most of rehab happens at home, so this is where a lot of the progress gets made.
How it works
Most people have their evaluation within two business days of booking. Arizona doesn't require a referral.
Pick your PT and an open time. It takes about two minutes, and nothing is charged until your visit.
A full hour: what happened, how you move, what we think is going on, and your first exercises before you leave.
55-minute visits with the same PT, texting in between, and a progress recheck every four to six visits.
Every price, posted
No bill weeks later and no codes you have to decode. You pay at the visit, and the superbill you get matches what you paid.
Your PTs
You pick one, and that's who you see every visit. If they're out, the other already knows your plan and can pick it up.

Board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist (ABPTS)
Back and neck pain, shoulders, joint replacements, and dizziness and balance. She's in by 7 most mornings.

Board-certified sports clinical specialist (ABPTS)
Runners, golfers, ACL and meniscus rehab, and return-to-sport testing. Speaks Spanish and keeps the late afternoon slots.

At my old clinic I was one of three people my PT was juggling. Here I get the whole visit, and Sam answers my texts between runs.Patient since 2024, marathoner in Scottsdale
No. Arizona lets you see a physical therapist directly, without a referral from a doctor. If anything we find needs a doctor's look, we'll tell you and send our notes to your doctor. Some insurance plans want a referral before they'll pay you back, so check yours if you plan to file.
We're out of network with every insurance plan. You pay at the visit, and we give you a superbill, an itemized receipt with the codes your plan needs, so you can file an out-of-network claim. How much comes back depends on your plan and your deductible.
Yes. Physical therapy is a qualified medical expense, so HSA and FSA cards work for evaluations and visits. For visit packs, ask your plan administrator how they handle paying ahead.
Not for physical therapy, and we're sorry about that. We aren't enrolled in Medicare, and physical therapists can't opt out of Medicare the way some doctors can. So federal rules don't let us treat Medicare patients for therapy Medicare would cover, even if you'd rather pay cash. Call us and we'll point you to a good Medicare clinic nearby.
It depends on what's going on. You'll get our honest estimate at the end of your evaluation, we recheck your progress every four to six visits, and you're never locked in. Unused pack visits are refunded.
